Internet	Internet connection and registration are necessary for required software activation, validation of subscriptions, and access to online services. Voice capabilities require users to be connected to the Internet to preview their prototypes.
Pen and touch input	XD on Windows 10 supports Windows' native pen and touch features.
Storage	Adobe recommends using cloud documents (stored in Creative Cloud), but also supports documents stored on local storage. Adobe does not recommend using synced cloud storage (Creative Cloud files, Dropbox, Google Drive, and so on) or network drives to store XD documents.

Is XD compatible with macOS Big Sur?

Yes, XD versions starting with XD 34.0.12 work on macOS Big Sur (version 11).

Are legacy versions compatible?

No. XD versions previous to XD 34.0.12 were not designed or tested to work on macOS Big Sur (version 11).

Older versions use 32-bit licensing components and installers. So, you cannot install, uninstall, or activate them after upgrading to macOS Big Sur.

If you have already upgraded to macOS Big Sur, use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to remove older versions.
